I was impressed by the number of employers and grad schools that we had at the Convention– everyone from Duke Energy, New York Life and GEICO to RPI, RIT and so much more. I talked to several NSCS members at the Convention and one of the things they liked most was that these exhibitors really tried to help. If one school didn’t have a certain program/ an answer to a question, they’d direct students to another booth. The result? NSCS members benefited.
Plus– the members got lots of one-on-one time, so that was great too. At college fairs, you rarely get to talk for too long to a potential employer. Over here, there was enough time to network.
