I’m sitting in some officer workshops right now, and our managers are working with NSCS officers to make next year great for you. NSCS officers are NSCS members on your campus who have chosen to lead and to create activies and events for your NSCS chapter at your school.
Right now, they’re learning about an Induction Convocation, which is a ceremony inducting new members into the Society. The Convocation features some amazing videos from NSCS members about how NSCS helped them, personally and professionally.
In addition to the resources that managers like Colleen Grosch are giving NSCS officers, officers are giving EACH OTHER ideas. I heard some great ideas from officers at DePaul, Indiana State and many more. If you’re an officer, see if you can get in touch with other officers at other chapters, especially those in your region.
If you’re a member, try and get in touch with these officers– they really are committed to make this year great.
